1.Lighting Design

Please contact us to discuss any potential projects and your requirement (eg. sustainability awards for BEAM Plus / LEED / WELL+) and receive a full fee proposal with detailed scope of services and deliverables.

concept design stage

This initial stage comprises of meetings with the architects, interior designers and/or client to define the project requirements, design approach and other factors relevant to the lighting design & control system integration. AMUSE LIGHTING & CONSULTANCY then prepares a Lighting Concept Report, with sketches, diagrams and illustrations to convey the lighting design intent and strategies.

preliminary design stage and confirmation stage

This stage involves the development of the concept defined in the previous stage. It usually consists of preliminary lighting layouts on plans or elevations, preliminary schedules indicating the type of luminaire and lamp, preliminary details of critical areas to confirm the feasibility of the installation and lighting calculations to check compliance with international standards. A preliminary budget and load schedule could be added in this stage, depending on the project requirements. The lighting rendering and lux simulation helps lighting designer, designer/architect & owner to understand where the lighting effects will be and the contrast are in the right balance to highlight the space appropriately.

2.Lighting Product Design

Our commitment to the art of lighting design has led us to develop custom solutions for many of our projects. We discovered early on a need for simple, functional, performance-oriented lighting with greater architectural compatibility.

In collaboration with leading manufacturers, we have designed and developed a wide range of highly influential and award-winning architectural light fixtures.

3.Electrical Installation & Termination

We have certified Electricians for project installation in carrying out the electrical works on our projects to ensure full safety and complied with our manufacture product warranty. Please approach us for more details on this matter.

4.Site Co-ordination & Commissioning Stage

Our team performs programmed visits during construction to ensure that the installation of the lighting equipment is performed as planned. Once the installation is completed AMUSE LIGHTING & CONSULTANCY assists in the commissioning, aiming and programming of the lighting equipment. A final inspection then takes place and a actual lux report is issued to the client for handover.
